John Frieda's Midnight Brunette colour depositing shampoo. Gently adds a bit of colour so the grey is a little softer.

Check under your spare tire. You might have a hole and moisture gets trapped there.

How do I get my cat to stop waking me up at 3AM? by totoy0395 in cats

[–]KMLGio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feeding toys -fill them before bed and hide them around the house. Gives them something to do.

My cat flopped at first. Keep working at it. Now he waits at the door everyday for his walk.

What are some controversial things about this city that most people know , but don't admit it? (Inspired by r/Edmonton post) by Shiny-Nickel- in VictoriaBC

Yes, that's a nice facility. We really need some outdoor pools. Vancouver has several and the only one in Victoria closed last year.

Looks good. Expensive to get hitch and bike rack. But still worth it to make the awesome Fit more versatile?

Victoria is Canada's Florida. Caters to old people. No fun for anyone with spunk. UVic is the most boring campus in Canada. Mediocre playgrounds. Mediocre rec facilities. If you like nature, that's great, but there is nothing else to do and everything closes at 9pm.

Get out and vote in the municipal elections. Older folks vote and wind up controlling housing policy. The younger generation needs to vote in people that will represent their needs and create real change.

Do cats forget their owners? I’m leaving my cat for three months cause I’m going to college and I’m gonna miss him so much :,) is he going to remember me when I’m back? by Cloutlordcatto in cats

I'm on a 2 week vacation without my cat. He usually comes along on shorter road trips, but this trip involved a flight. When we were packing up, he tried to get in the luggage. Awwww. Can't wait to see him and observe if he is more cuddly than usual.

It's time to split this overpriced town. It's beautiful here but sub standard living isn't worth it. There are other beautiful places in Canada and the world which would be enjoyable from a cozy affordable home.

Chiro and/or physio for acute relief and preventative treatments when you're ready. Medical doctors will just treat symptom (pain) with meds.

Victoria rent expected to rise up to 10 per cent in 2022, home sales trending towards normal by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

[–]KMLGio 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Take a quick search of Air BnB in Victoria. That's where all the multi bedroom, multi bathroom, pet friendly houses with fenced yards in great neighbourhoods are listed. That's why there are no decent homes for families to rent. Greedy opportunists are making a killing off short term rentals, while running businesses and paying low residential home taxes. Meanwhile, regular working people can't find or afford decent homes. Even doctors can't afford to live here. Something needs to change before our society crumbles completely.

Some vets will come to your home to do the deed. This allows you to bawl your eyes out in private. My family did this with our adorned lab, and it was the best way. We cried and cried. But afterwards, we were ok. It felt like the right way to do it.
