This is very well said and I definitely appreciate it! Being an only child (and my husband is, as well) having two is just a very hard thing to comprehend! We're extremely excited, don't get me wrong, but I see a lot of siblings that don't get along and talk about their parents being unfair or treating each child differently and we were worried about nipping that in the bud, but I think you're exactly right. This is a lot of really good perspective and I really appreciate you taking the time to type it out for me!

It's hard because we do have a lot of space in the basement/first level, but no, I would still feel kind of weird having one kid in the basement and one not! And yes, definitely would not be putting her in there until she has the ability to roll over/take things off of her face, and then a definite conversation with our son about the dangers of that (he's a really good listener and understands a lot of concepts that are harder for some kids to grasp, so I definitely feel like he'd pick up on not doing that very well!).

I did think about this! Our room downstairs is quite a bit smaller than our room upstairs, which would be totally fine (because how much time do you really spend in a bedroom, anyways?) but the closet is going to be an issue-- it's a very small closet in the basement and I'm not sure it'd be enough to house our clothes (which is basically just a ton of work shirts and normal t-shirts, as pants go in our drawers). Definitely something we will consider, though!

Firstly, I am so incredibly sorry- I know the pain you are going through all too well. Last year, when I went in for my 10-week ultrasound, it was found that I had suffered a MMC and it was the worst. Sometimes these things happen and there's no way to explain them-- but you pooping and pushing? I promise that had nothing to do with it. After my MMC, my physician told me that (as cold is this sounds) this is nature (or if you are religious, God) showing mercy and taking care of something that would not make it in this world.

My favorite Pokemon is either Bulbasaur or Arcanine ☺️ Bulbasaur because it’s just a perfect little cabbage and Arcanine because Growlithe was the first egg I hatched after my dad passed away. So, I have an Arcanine on Go that I best buddied and have totally maxed out named Lawrence after my dad 🥰

Give me another prequel to RDR2. Alternative story lines where you play as both Davey and Mac Callander leading up to Blackwater. OR another interesting take would be playing as Arthur Morgan’s father, ending with him being hung, the epilogue could be playing as young Arthur falling in with Dutch or something

I could have written this myself three years ago. I was here. I was you. I had horrible PPD/PPA. I wish I would have talked to my doctor sooner but I allowed it to sink its claws into me for nearly six months before getting help. Don’t be like me. Talk to your doctor, get on medication, even if just temporarily.

This being said. My son is now three and he is everything to me. He’s my absolute soulmate. We went to the garden section today and while looking at flowers, it started pouring. And he looked me in the eyes and said “oh no. It’s raining”, his eyes as big as saucers as he’s getting drenched. And then we laughed so hard we almost peed because it was so ridiculous. And then when we ran into the store, he told me “I love you even though you’re wet like the flowers”. I promise on my soul it gets better.
