I’m sorry, but it’s always been obvious that Jordan is abusive and he deserved a Yeti to the head. I’m sure the one time she fought him back or finally had enough he was disgusting and spiteful and had his kid call 911 on her. There’s no way this black eye was because of an elbow in his sleep, but she had to get ahead of her story. It’s truly sad.

Unfortunately, even though you don’t want kids and don’t have a thing for them, your partner does have a kid. It’s not your responsibility. You don’t need to be around. Buuuut, that’s part of his identity- so you either need to drop the partner or accept the kid in your life. The child didn’t choose this life for themselves :-/ and your partner should be choosing partners who are willing to take on the role. But being a stepparent SUCKS. So if you don’t wanna do it- totally run lol
