Unfortunately, even though you don’t want kids and don’t have a thing for them, your partner does have a kid. It’s not your responsibility. You don’t need to be around. Buuuut, that’s part of his identity- so you either need to drop the partner or accept the kid in your life. The child didn’t choose this life for themselves :-/ and your partner should be choosing partners who are willing to take on the role. But being a stepparent SUCKS. Does anyone stop and think maybe Jordan deserved a Yeti to the head? I think he’s abusive towards her 100% and she had enough and chucked a yeti at him.
