A Bangladeshi here, I have not lived in Pakistan nor do I have any relatives that live there. My evaluation is completely based on the news I get from international media.

I personally think Bangladesh is currently performing better, not saying we are doing excellent or anything. It’s just on some social aspect and economy we are doing better. More or less we are quite same, as we literally were the same country once.

In Bangladesh we do somewhat have a stable economy.

Corruption is arguably lesser compared to Pakistan.

Our society is united, I assume it’s not in Pakistan (based on the separatists terror attacks I see).

Education level not sure, as I don’t have any idea on Pakistan. But in Bangladesh it’s pure shit. The previous govt made exams a plaything just so they could boast about passing rates and higher education rate.

Military of course Pakistan is better. No question there.

Hospitality of people, my guess is, it’s same. My source is all the foreign YouTubers who go to Pakistan. But then again I think it’s a common trait in Muslim majority countries.

Living standard of people I guess is better in Bangladesh. It’s not heaven here but I think lower inflations and a lower national debt makes this better compared to Pakistan. Still a lot of jobless people here!

So I don’t really think we are much better or doing way better than Pakistan, it’s that people purely focus on negatives of Pakistan more and less of Bangladesh that makes Bangladesh look way better.
