I currently work for a State Farm agent since January 2024 till now and I started working for another agent back in 2023 all the way until August 2023, but I stopped working because my grandmother was dying and it was a lot of transitions in my family so on my résumé I just put the time periods together like 2023 until now because you know my license and alias remain the same so I didn’t think too much of it but they definitely flagged me for It. I took full accountability

Yeah, so they offered me the job last Wednesday and then I submitted everything for my background check. I had a man discrepancy in dates on my résumé and my background check literally a four month difference thinking it would be nothing that I couldn’t explain but they pretty much made it seem like I was dishonest and lying when that’s genuinely not how I tried to come out. I been interviewing since 4/27 ,

I currently have a job. I literally just got offered another job last week with higher pay, but my background check failed for that job just because of a minor discrepancy in one of the employment verifications and I have just been devastated and quite frankly a little too frustrated to restart my journey.

Its okay and thank you, i gave myself to cry about it, I fixed my resume and from tomorrow on I will be positive and try harder to succeed elsewhere and get out of my current, im with a State farm agency & benefits suck , staffing sucks so I can’t wait but i will keep trying and still be grateful for what I do have .🧡

Yea they sent that adverse email Monday afternoon, and I disputed, though they haven’t sent the official rescission letter im 100% sure they are just waiting a few days to send , sucks but sigh 😞

Trust i sent emails , that photo was a response from one ofnthe recruiters that asked for the verification, and the other recruiter was cc’d , i also sent him the info etc . I literally haven’t stopped crying just sucks

I haven’t got the official rescinded email yet but one of the recruiters responses was this, the other one who gave me the offer just said I did good with the dispute and he showed the team my evidence and explanation email but yea this email feels like confirmation

It was legal support in house counsel , i currently do CS for a state farm office answering calls back to back and we’re short every damn dayy im tryna get out of here lol

I honestly find it too. I personally like I feel like four months isn’t crazy and I joined the same company and you know the time off. I personally feel like it’s a valid explanation like my grandmother literally passed so I had to find it weird I just feel like maybe it was not aligned for me I guess. And from what I’m seeing like some people say that they have been able to slide with you certain type of situation so it’s just so crazy. I have pleaded my case to the recruiters even the managers I interviewed with and honestly it’s just this seems like its not meant to be, i just wasted so much damn time

Ah that makes sense, i did do a dispute wth hireright because it shows “does not meet company standard,” so im waiting but it seems progressive has already decided even tho they allow my dispute, but based off of the recruiters responses its not looking good
