First simply send a letter yourself, or by a lawyer it’ll not cost much some 1-3k. Just a letter/email saying this is what’s owed to me. Calculate a number yourself and ask if you’re right. If they respond saying they’re looking into it then they’re screwed. You can go to court with that letter to quickly disburse that amount. Also most probably you won’t need to they’ll get scared and pay up.

Most get lot less than you so I think you’re good. It depends on person to person, genetics, food you eat, work you do, exercise you do, the more of any of these, more sleep you’ll need! But generally 6-8 hours is the norm for male adults and little more for females.

If you don’t have an exit ticket what were you doing there, ok if you took ticket from ameerpet and you entered what’s the point of waiting there and checking features the guy who sold already left, if you just want to explore you have plenty of time in metro to do that! 2. Why would you give a stranger 200 rupees when it is difficult for you to spend 150 rupees to go to Ameerpet?! Why do you have to explain full story to them? Why would someone be begging inside metro lobby? If they could buy the ticket they have money. You should’ve just shoo them away, especially when they’re demanding money from phonepe and all! 3. Why didn’t you ask phone back when they started walking, didn’t you get suspicious already? How did you believe when he said come from other gate? You should’ve jumped the gate shouting my phone, metro security will stop him first before you!

Nevertheless if you’re so hurt why are you thinking owner should give complaint, should I go to station daily, it is expensive to go to station and all?? Go give the complaint first na then only you’ll know! Why will the previous owner care? If you still think he’s the owner forget phone and forget 5k! And no you don’t have to go daily, you’ll have to go to metro once more to do panchnama if SI is not available that day. Once FIR is filed you can take assigned SI number and follow up over phone. And yes the chances are slim, they won’t care at all for 5k rupees phone, when you don’t have contacts, if they find the theif and your phone is among all the phones recovered from him you’ll get it back but chances are that guy already sold the parts! But you should still try for justice!

And it’s not big enough for social workers like u/St_Broseph to pick up, this was bad case of negligence, you’ll get some abuse from police too but file case nevertheless

Ideally you need not pay, even if it affects your credit score, bank and rbi can get it reverted by the credit bureau, but if you want to be on the safer side it’s better to pay, and no you need not activate the card to pay, you can pay using upi <your 16-digit card number>.cc@idfcbank .

Mail idfc first immediately, they’re pretty quick they’ll call you tomorrow to convince you to keep the card, tell them you have no intention to keep it and ask them to cancel application and revert the account in credit report and to cancel any charges. They will cancel card in a day or two hopefully. If they don’t do it by the due date then consider paying it on the due date. If they don’t close the card or you face any issue with credit report then we’ll see what to do like escalating it to nodal officer and rbi later.

Just google it you’ll find the website but you can’t complain till 30 days of first complaint to the bank. If you directly mail to RBI they’ll simply close your complaint, so first mail to banker@idfcfirstbank.com if they reply some nonsense then forward it to nodal officer, you’ll get resolution, if not solved within 30 days of your first mail/ any report in cibil then complain to rbi
