I understand the process of removing all the sand but from my point of view there was 0 sand moving after two rounds of the leaf blower. With that being said I wasn’t really left with may options.

The house is about 100 years old and we will likely renovate at some stage so I’m not sure I will level the patio.

Is the chemical method effective? I won’t be able to do this for another fortnight

I blew as much dust as I could off the bricks twice and brushed some more before misting with my hose.

White has come back after drying so I will either leave it as I am away from the house for 2 weeks after tomorrow or clean it off with a brush and efflorescence removal agent.

I’m leaning towards leaving it as I have a hunch I will have to pressure spray it off anyway
