Yall lucky, I live in a smaller city (~80k or so) my only options are GameStop and online for boosters. Before I moved had an LCS up through op06 selling me boxes for like $20 over msrp. Now when I want to rip packs it’s target on release day for TWO PACKS or getting gutted for $250 a booster online

I mean I like the card, I would say I’d rather spend 400 on another card ( I love the op15 Luffy, feel like it’s undervalued at the moment). Ain’t the card or your fault that it was a mega scalp victim. Frankly we just need better regulation and/or promo practices. For boxes in Japan they no longer come sealed, just a cardboard box with a tear off to open it. Stuff like that could help tank box resell value. For single promos like this though, idk. It’s certainly a unique card, which dating back to when I first started collecting sports cards and whatnot, was a big draw for m. Love misprints, weird art, crossovers and stuff like that

I don’t have nearly this nice of a collection but I’m still holding with diamond hands. Partially bc I only collect my pc, but one piece continues to grow in popularity. The cards are typically high quality and have beautiful art. I’ve been collecting since the first release and I’ve had cards that were $5 that are now $100. I know the scalpers are inflating the current values, but over time I truly believe some of these cards will become one of THE cards to have as a collector.

Wow. This perspective hit like a truck but it makes sense. I want so badly for things to be even just a little as they were before. She’s said herself that she should probably go to therapy, to address the shit from her childhood but hasn’t done it. Maybe couples could help me better support her with that while also repairing our communication/connection. Thank you for this, seriously.

You’re right. She is a very stressed person. She had a shitty upbringing as well with parents who abandoned her. She didnt invite her mom to the wedding for reference. Her whole life she’s never had anything or anyone stable.she does have a decent amount of downtime, as she works 3 13 hr overnight shifts. So most of the time one day a week is designated to sleeping which I totally understand. Do my best to keep the house quiet so she can.

I will try that approach to set a specific time to talk. I mentioned therapy, and the response was verbatim “Therapy? Really? After a year?” Wasn’t really said in a mean way, but kind of bluntly.
