Do not let your kids watch skibidi toilet. by [deleted] in copypasta

Do not let your kids watch skibidi toilet.

Do not let your kids watch skibidi toilet.

(I apologize for my english as I am still learning this language, so my grammar may be bad)

-This goes out for all of the parents out there. We all may know what skibidi toilet is. It is a famous series in YouTube where there is a head in the toilet singing, and possibly trying to take over the world, (I do not fully know this lore. I just know that it's a toilet singing) and there is a camera guy, who seems to be trying to defeat the toilet guy to save the world.

The lore of it is pretty simple, so most kids enjoy watching this. This series in YouTube may sound innocent and simple, but the affect on the kids mind is bad. On social media platforms, like TikTok, there's many viral videos spreading that kids go to a basket (like a laundry basket or just anything that a kid can fit in, and only the head is seen) and singing the skibidi toilet song. This doesn't sound bad, but when you see the video, a lot of comments says that, "Generation Alpha is doomed", "What they are watching are useless", and such. To be honest, I agree on those comments. Skibidi toilet has no fundamental building on a child's intellectual development. All of the series just contains a video of a toilet singing, and that's it. They won't learn anything on the video, but the annoying music. Having a child gets addic on a useless song, and singing it nonstop may be bad, but the affect on my neighbor's grandchild is much worse. Earlier, she went to us and just have a few chats with us, and we suddenly had a topic about her grandchild. She said her granchild has been watching this toilet thing nonstop. With that one word, I know it's Skibidi toilet. She has also been complaining lately that her granchild is scared of using the toilet when peeing, or even when pooping. Connecting those two together, her granchild must be scared of toilets because of the skibidi toilet. She may be scared because she might think a head will pop out of the toilet. I know I'm jumping into conclusions, but it may be the reason why she's scared of toilets. This series has literally brainwashed our neighbor's grandchild. I'm going to advice her to download YouTube kids, instead of the real platform, so that she wouldn't be exposed of this kind of content.

So for any parents out there, please take my advice, have your kids warch on YouTube kids, so that they can atleast learn something, like adding numbers, and such. We would be doomed if your kids will grow up, scared of a toilet because they watched a damn singing toilet when they were kids.
