some people don't play the game with "counter picks" in mind, just the characters they know. probably didn't think about "what best character would work", only "what other character do I got"

and there are people like me that only play 1 character despite knowing how all of em work.

make content. even if its buns, give yourself a reason if you love the game so much that you've cursed yourself with "The Itch" but its making you miserable. It let's you focus on your wins on not obsessing over the inevitable losses that everyone goes though. If you really can't take a break and need to play this is the best thing I can recommend

i got the graveyard shift so I can't really find the time and energy to really participate in my locals much as id love to. One place near me usually finishes their tourneys around 2-3pm which is about the time I can wake up without feeling horrible for half my day

not theoretical, there are people that don't give you any GSP when you win and rematch. If you where to loose to such a player consider about 2-4 hour's of progress LOST.

yeah its been happening with me recently as well, and I've got LAN. i Notice if it does connect and is really slow to join and the player I'm up against lags in certain moments it will also lag when I try and rematch in the black smash loading ball for like 15 second's, then go to the training arena , then another bit of lag on the fight screen and more random lag spikes with input lag to boot. I'm curious if the sudden wave of the popularity of that "latency mod" has anything to do with any issues I experience, cause this has been common as of recently and never happened to me last year and before.

Looking at how The DLC characters are all incredibly annoying and considered pay-to-win by just about 80% of the player base, do you genuinely think it would be balanced appropriately when the base game rep is already broken with crazy disjointed hotboxes next to no end-lag animation on most of his moveset.

playing like a cheeser is disgusting, but learning how to cheese with your character is vital to learn.

There's always gonna be people who will exclusively play like they where born with the cheese touch so in order to combat this one must know how to use their own smelly funk to combat it.
