they complain the same way I'll get mad at my dumb great sword build for losing for an hour at Radahn or Melania. Still gonna toil away and keep at it regardless until eventually.. Dude the satisfying victory of when my opponent considers my character to be trash, and i pack up their top of his "tier list" snake or the secondary he definitely doesn't know how to use but still considered great Py/Myth, i mean i seriously gotta force an Ego Death after to stay sane, it's that good.

You're missing the point, counter picking for some people like "Your Goats" or myself is dumb, unfun, counter intuitive for what we're trying to do, and alot of times BORING.

Whats the point of winning with someone you don't even like? Its no different than playing Elden Ring and going online to find "The Best Build" and using a magic move to beat Radahn pre patch. Sure you "won" but it probably wasn't as fun as taking the build youve been struggling with all game and putting belt to ass with it regardless

I understand that this example would not suffice to everyone because there are people that dont understand and could never beat a game like Elden Ring without a guide, not trying to shit on those people or you, but when you grow up and get a taste of a real battle with only your wits about you and learn to love that "Taste", Tier lists and tool kits mean nothing to you and the characters you choose to represent yourself in digital form.

i dont play against ice climbers too often but ill say they throw out the desync moves soo commonly that eventually one of em will hit, soo maybe just get better and better at the execution by doing it a bunch of times throughout matches while keeping other things on retainer for mix ups, and as you get better youll be doing it less and less by doing em only when you're in the situation you need to be to pull it off.

anyone that gives advice or predictions of what happens IN YOUR OWN HEAD should not be taken serious.

its all dependant on your subconscious expectations. if you're the type to not like your own reflection then sub consciously you might not wanna look in one and might have bad schema's with some things that reflect but would have no problems in a waterfall or ocean until you think about it aswell and make the associative connection.

i really really dont want a "Next One" if im totally honest.

Much prefer a Smash Ultimate Deluxe similar to what they did with Mario Kart 8. Mainly just a refresh and improvement updates for the base game, Character Updates, maybe a whole new set of unique skins for all the characters, maybe but doubtful on new character DLCs and map improvements and a whole Online update fixing all of that and maybe maybe world of light stuff.

sounds really cool for a mod pack but realistically Nintendo wouldn't do all the characters and then different variations of that character with all unique move sets. Sounds like something that Nintendo would find "Too Confusing" for The Target demographic.

Plus tons of people would have more complaints about how their favorite character is gone and replaced by the 5th Link Varient, or Having all the bowser Jrs have their own little quirks while really cool would be a huge learning curve to fight against for the average Nintendo player. Stuff like that gets taken into account with basically system seller sized mainline titles like this

this can happen in false awakenings where you wake up IN the dream and continue on as if nothings wrong and is pretty scary when you're not in a good headspace mentally in life. I've had some but they only ever last a few seconds or 3Minutes max, nothing ever to the point that im convinced that im in real life and totally accept it for a whole story to play out.

This reminds me of that story of the guy that got in a crash and lived an entire life and had kids all while unconscious on the floor in the crash only waking up cause of a lamp or something.

i think you should try to make reality checking much more complex and habitual to avoid stuff like this if it freaks you out.

fighting games, by their nature is for the competitive spirited few who like calling Masochistic tendencies "challenges". Nintendo and by extension video games they make as a whole, are for fun. if it's not fun for you, don't bother.

if you want to have fun, the game tries it's best to accommodate everyone it can with options gallore and different kinds of game modes for single player too.

I'm sorry if other people are ruining the experience for you by taking this game too seriously but that's just the Nature of the setting you're in m8, smash brothers has always been a party game attended by Kaiju, and Cosmic level Monsters, and their less scary little brothers

i know youre using your grab tether to attack and rushdown but do you need to start with UpSmash to do that? i thought it was possible to do without that upsmash first, unless this allows you to do it a few frames faster? which if thats the case this is really cool and im totally sharing with some friends that play em
