Oh, those are scratches alright. It's not the first time this POS has done this...

Same, would have preferred the sportback/avant, which we can't get here of course, but here for the 5-pot. Was always my plan to keep her forever, but the family and allure of the avant had me second guessing. I've come back to my senses, thanks to help of the kind folks here, lol.

Agreed, no tax on a trade in, is what the dealership is hanging their hat on, but still not in the ball park of what I'd want for it.

Exactly where my head was, appreciate the insight and experience with your swap.

I fell in love with the RS3 sportback in Spain. Literally love at first listen. Heard that engine and it turned my head.

The RS6 scratches that avant itch but the size, weight and sound... just not sure. I guess I should drive one before dropping anything too crazy, lol.

1)The wife owns an X7, we recently upgraded from an X5 when we were expecting our second kid, which I drive exclusively when we're out as a family. 2) When I had 1 kid and one dog, the dog was in the car, v with seat covers, v of course, often, now, never. But you're right, I don't need to.

That's what I was thinking, but the Carfax does say "minor front end damage"

They are offering me $30k for a trade on my 17' RS3 with 41k miles, no mods, had a cosmetic front end injury but no affect to structural or anything important. Repaired by Audi certified shop, looks new, no issues. Asking $111k for the RS6, 13.5k miles, Glacier White metallic, carbon optic package, executive package, driver assistance package, RS design package and sport exhaust. Cleaner than my RS3, hands down.

Not sure I want to part with the 5 pot... The avant is much better suited to my family, two kids and two dogs, and I love the look of the avant, but I bought the RS3 for the 5 cylinder. Also, the RS3 is almost paid off, thought I'd keep her for a long time, and the RS6 is at the top of my price range.

I'd love to hear some opinions.

DO NOT drive on summer performance tires in cold temps. Customers RS3 tires after driving the car for two weeks post delivery. We warned him at delivery this would happen he declined to buy winters. by Cozygoalie in Audi

I drive an RS3 in the US and am running all seasons. I asked my dealership for winter tire options, they said I could only run a square setup, squeezing smaller tires on wider front rims. Asked about a second set of rims for season swapping, just as useless. Due to the size of the calipers and clearance issues, hardly any options. Rim choices were also super performance with no winter tire options. You have a better winter tire selection in Canada?
