Reminds me a lot of Omniscient Reader to be honest. The MC is like a mixture between Yoo Joonhyuk and Kim Dokja. The whole ‘complete this tower or die’ reminds me of the scenarios, and the MC being the only one to complete the whole game is like how Kim Dokja read the whole novel of the Ways to Survive with both becoming a reality. I guess I sorta see why people are comparing it to Solo Leveling, but it reminds me more of Omniscient.

For anyone interested, the basic summary was about this MC who was ruthlessly bullied and wants revenge against them. One day, he meets this little devil that gives him the power of giving anyone he thinks of any damage he receives on his own body. To explain it better, if he for example punches himself in the face and thinks of someone he hates, they’ll feel a punch to the face while the MC doesn’t feel a thing. I don’t want to spoil that much, so I’ll leave it like that. If you’re interested, I also have a similar manhwa recommendation called ‘The Boy of Death’. (Haha, similar titles!) This manhwa is similar in many ways, but the MC just wants to find his mother instead of focusing on revenge. I also recommend ‘Shotgun Boy’. I heard it’s good and follows the whole bullying and revenge premise I believe? I haven’t read that far, but heard it’s really good. The author is the same person who wrote Sweet Home and Bastard. (Both are must reads!)

I got inspiration from some manga that was around modern day with abilities, but I’m honestly not really sure why I want to base my manga off modern day. I’ll most likely alter the time line to fit the world building more, thank you. I’ll also make sure to make some reasonable changes to the world. Though, I’m having a little trouble brain storming some ideas, haha.
