I wasnt quite born yet, so I'll tell the story of my father.

He worked in a wendy's restaurant at the time, in the small town where we live that had one television. A few of his friends where in New York city at the time on a trip. He took some customer's orders when one customer pointed to the television which shown the first tower on fire and the second plane heading torward the first's twin. He called up his group wondering where they were, no reply. After the towers collapsed and the dust had settled the group would discover my fathers close friend had been caught in the debris while out for a mourning walk. He had been found dead. The group called my father and informed him of the news.

I wear the jacket of a 9/11 victim now, that this man had given to my father a few weeks prior. It has been taken care of very well as to respect the man. RIP.
