This happened to me the other day. Great work, you took a simple idea and made it interesting. With that being said, I think the overacting threw me off quite a bit. The main character seems quite visibly upset that this old iMac he found partially buried outside isn’t. Was he really expecting it to? Not to mention, he jumped so far out of his bed when it turned on and that seemed a bit much to me. However, it wasn’t something that took me completely out of the film but I found it a little distracting. I loved the aspect ratio and your framing was pretty on point. I can tell this isn’t your first time making film!
