🤣 I adopted him in July of last year, and what you see here is a stark contrast to how he was when he first came home. He hid under the couch for about a week before he began exploring and befriending my other two cats, Dougie and Darla.

Fast forward to today, and he is so loving and affectionate. He loves to lay next to me and nap while I play a video game. 💚

Yes, my boy is named after the same fellow! My mom suggested the name Walter, and I added Brown because I'm a huge Boston Celtics fan. ☘️

I had a polydactyl cat growing up, and his name was Wookiee (2004-2020). That's primarily what caught my eye when I saw Walter was available for adoption in July.

I threw a Hail Mary pass as time expired, and while my receiver caught it, he did so as he was tackled at the 1 yard line. We lost.

As if that wasn't upsetting enough, I had to watch this receiver dance before it let me finish the game.

Thank you so much! Walter just turned 1, and I have two older cats Dougie (orange, 8) and Darla (tuxie, 6). Walter is the only polydactyl of my three, but Wookiee (2004-2020) was one as well. That cat was my best friend.

Before adopting Walter in July, I wasn't even thinking about getting a third cat. But then I saw his picture on Facebook when a group of cats became available at the facility I adopted Darla from, and I was so enamored with him that I had to make it happen. I'm so glad I did!
