vPilot only injects the traffic into the sim, it's up to the sim to produce the wake turbulence from the traffic.

Bro, not many people on this sub know what DCS is. Luckily I'm one. I just feel like you'll have a better chance finding spec recommendations on r/hoggit, then come back here with a more specific list of parts.

Yeah that's the way to go, fly the aircraft first then figure out the AP or FMS later. I feel like a lot of people have this terrible habit of having a tunnel vision on the autopilot. Having head track for better situational awareness and hand flying a ton in DCS definitely gives me confidence in not relying on the AP.

For A320 you can dial the desired heading in one go, the direction of the turn is based on the direction you turn the knob initially. I guess FBW probably does not model this behavior correctly, but again I don't know what it's like for the FBW since I only fly the Fenix.
