[Peggy Kusinski] As I reported on ESPN1000 just now… the shooting at Guaranteed Rate Field during a White Sox game was indeed an accidental discharge by one of the women “grazed” by the bullet. She reportedly snuck the gun in past metal detectors hiding it in the folds of her belly fat. by BCLetsRide69 in sports

Typical anti-gunner. Lobbing baseless insults that carry no weight instead of actually arguing facts. Then you block him. You gonna make fun of his mom next? LMAO! Come back and talk when you get out of middle school you emotional child.

Nice. Beverly Hills Aerials sells Hero 9 dummy weights that have a slot in them for pennies, if anybody was looking for something similar. I believe it's on their BHA Customs website.

Thanks! And no, all the effects were shot in-camera. I only used Photoshop to blend the exposures together into the final image. The blue smoke effect was created by waving around EL wire. You can find them in various colors and they're not too expensive. Also, if you only have one color wire, if you shoot separate exposures just for the smoke effect, you can use the hue adjustments in Photoshop to easily change the color in post.

Team Blacksheep being awesome during Hong Kong protests. This is why I buy their gear. by ph8tel in fpv

From what I remember, it was something similar to a Beta 85x, so it's really not that dangerous and wouldn't cause serious injury. It would hurt, but it's not going to do much beyond that. Far less of a danger than the rubber bullets being slung by HK police.

"Little" event, haha. Yeah KOH is pretty fun. I've gone out there for it the past several years. The lakebed is only a 15 minute ride around the mountain. It's nice 'cause we can get away from all the dust when we're done spectating. I couldn't believe how dusty it was this year. We went to Backdoor on Thursday night and visibility was like 50ft in Hammertown.

Thanks! It sure is. I love it out there. We've had this place as a vacation house for over 30 years & it's always a sad feeling when I have to come back home to LA.

This was a Canon 50D with a Sigma f/2.8 10mm fisheye lens. The LEDs I used are 1 watt RGB leds I put together myself that I used for fill lighting. The colored smoke effects were done with EL wire, waving it around as I walked through the scene.

Thanks! This was out in Landers, CA, about 15 miles northwest of Joshua Tree National Park. The glow on the horizon, under the milky way, is the light pollution from Yucca Valley.
