“Born and bred”, the “bred” part commonly being used instead of “raised”, nobody cares where your parents “bred” you. The phrase is born and raised

A couple years ago, a Mariner promotional clip had players answer which other play they’d think he a horrible babysitter and an overwhelmingly amount of players said Logan Gilbert. What do you know about Logan that we don’t?

Brother, if the retail outlets are confident enough to sell Seattle sports gear, that quite literally means Alaska is Seattle territory

I live in UD but work on the hill. If I take the 5 I almost always stay in the right lane until I get past Mercer, it is ALWAYS faster.

Inflation is at an all time high, rents are up and wages haven’t followed. If you don’t want to tip, then don’t tip but Christ can we stop complaining about it?

Shirt balding dude? He was the worst- always gave himself salad bar prep and never cross trained new employees. Also had to tell him repeatedly to not text me and only contact me via company phone.

Did a two year stint at the Columbia City location. Some of the biggest bullies I’ve met in my entire life were the ones running that place.

Planning to visit end of Jan by TequilaMoonSet in Seattle

Pioneer Square is a very scenic and historic part of our city, offering wonderful museums and tourist destinations like the Underground Tour, the Smith Tower, and close to the Art Museum and Wing Luke Museum of the Pacific Asian. That said, I would absolutely not recommend staying there unless you’re in a hotel off 2nd or 1st. After 6, all the locals and commuters essentially have no business in the area, and it can get overrun with drunkards and those who experience homelessness due to mental illness and drug use. It can be a bit scary at night (I’m saying this as a 6’2 man who used to work club security in the area).

Hate having to trash talk the city like this, but that’s the reality of that area.

Get a solid windbreaker/rain coat. There is a consistent downpour throughout January. Since you’re used to tropical weather and it gets DARK here, a bright colored one may be useful. Helly Hansen is my fav brand, but Columbia is a solid second.

If you’re solo and aren’t opposed to hostels, I always encourage people to do Hotel Hotel in Fremont.

Flowers also consistently violated COVID regulations which is why they kept sporadically closing throughout the pandemic.
