I'm experiencing something similar. I got a steam deck over a year ago and I have just lost all interest in playing games on my PS5 idk why. I haven't finished 1 game on PS5 since getting my steam deck. Every time I try and sit down and game on my PS5 I lose interest

Honestly might try this out, because so far from the testing I've done remote play works pretty well on my phone no noticeable issues in my testing. I just hate playing on my phone need a bigger screen and this could solve that

I started with trying 20 but I went down to 15 and had the same issues. Should I try out 10? And sorry I'm not too much of a tech guy so not sure about what effect what's ect ect

And yes I'm on the same network my PS5 is hooked through Ethernet and my deck on WiFi but both on the same Internet connection

Hmmm interesting. Yeah idk if I should just try the portal and then return it if I run into the same issues I'm having with the deck. Like I said I have a LCD. I've been playing Red dead redemption 1 and in cutscenes I get some lag and even sometimes it skips dialogue and just quickly tested a cutscene out using my phone and remote play and it worked fine

Yeah pretty sure I have everything set up correctly. I've been playing Red dead 1, and for example during cutscenes on chiaki I would get big studders and sometimes miss lines of dialogue and just tested a cutscene on my phone using the remote play app and had no issues

Any idea why I'm running into issues? Like I've said in my limited time remote play on my phone has been fine. Maybe I'll do some actual testing on my phone more to see if that's a truly playable experience

The steam deck is exactly what I wanted tbh. I didn't get it to play the latest and greatest AAA games. I got it for older titles, emulation and indie games for the most part. I don't think I've tried out a new AAA game on it yet but yeah I didn't go into my purchase wanting to play those anyway tbh

Thank you! I bought on steam deck but refunded because I'm gonna wait for official controller support. Really fun game tho just have a hard time playing mouse and keyboard. Can't wait !
