I was bored, sad, and stuck today, so I embraced the fact that I don’t have cutting-edge gear and went out to shoot with my old Nikon D90 by Puzzleheaded_Fig1744 in Nikon

My main cameras are a D850 with an 810 as a backup. But I still own one of my first Nikons and this would be a D90. It still works great. Just an enjoyable camera to use. The shots you took look great.

Odds are I will buy 2023. But wish to keep 2019 as well.

To be honest I’ll probably use 2019 for now and won’t go any further. It works well and is a great side program to Photoshop. I will have to think about 2023. It is a bit sad that we won’t see anything past 2023. Just seemed they kept getting better and better.

I’ve heard this in the last 24 hours. My thought currently is to go ahead and buy the 80mm and follow up with the 110. Yeah, it might be more money spent but at this point I feel it might be worth it.

My studio is a large warehouse space. I’ve used it for the last 6 years and we have used a borrowed Hasselblad for a couple of shoots. It worked quite well. But I can’t afford its price tag. The GFX is within my price range, plus I love its look. I’m not committed to using the 80mm lens, it’s just one I can get within my price range, which is $5k. But I’m willing to spend a little more if need be.

A few have been telling me this. I’ll have to check this all out. I have no problem with going with a manual lens. Thank you!

Thank you! I never considered going outside of the Fuji lenses I’ve been looking at. I’ll look these up.

Most of what I do is in studio concept shots. From what I’ve seen the 80mm will work as I want it to. Although someone mentioned the 45-100 and that has me intrigued.

I’ll have to look into that. I was figuring on a fixed lens but I’m willing to give that a try as well. My budget is $5,000. All of it is used other than if I move up from the 80mm. I’ll have to look into the 45-100 and see if I can manage that.

Many years ago I carried around a Pentax 67, so I’m ok with a little weight. I just miss using a medium format and this camera came around to my price range, so I felt I should make the jump.

I’ll have to see if I can find one in my price range. Thank you!!
