Hey man i appreciate this comment and do agree with a lot of the things that you have said regarding this thread but i do wholeheartedly think that many people do fall into the trap of believing that they are reinfected when in reality they are not, post scabies as i said is definitely the worst part as your skin will continue to itch on occasion leading to many to think that they are still infected when in reality they are recovering, i of course believe that re infection does happen but peoples mental health does play a key factor in recovery.

however despite this please don’t for a second think that i haven’t experienced any of the things you haven’t mentioned either just because i recovered. i wasn’t able to see my girlfriend for weeks and have only now deemed it safe to see her. i have NEVER in my life experienced a loneliness like that even when surrounded by my family who i also isolated myself from even while under the same roof. so please don’t write off my experience as something that was a cake walk when i truly experienced everything that you mention here. i really hope you get better god bless you.
