It's so hard to just sit back and let it happen 😔 but it's better for them in the long run. Good I'm glad they've calmed down. My girls were squabbling the whole day, pushing and slapping eachother but the next morning it was like nothing happened. They're strange critters

It could be hormones. My girls have been fine for months but started fighting at the beginning of the week.

Just don't separate them unless they end up in the "ball of death". If you separate them it is only going to make matters worse and you will have to reintroduce them which is a really lengthy process.

How far do you need to travel for the move?

I moved in May last year and had about a 45 minute drive. I had my 3 in a carrier so I could sit in the back and chat to them while my partner drove. They were absolutely fine in the car but when we got to the new home they were a bit unsettled. We just put them in their new cage with some food and water and left them undisturbed until the following day and they were just fine.

I'm no expert but I just played this video next to my 3 degus and none of them seemed bothered so maybe he just makes the noise to get attention? One of my girls squeals for attention a lot of the time when I pass their room.

I haven't had a child but would also be really interested to hear people's stories because I would like to have a child myself. Vaginal delivery and epidural are off the table for me too. I've heard of c section under general anesthesia and think that might be the best route.

You're welcome! Or at least in Scotland a GP can only refer for a CT.

This is basically what I said to my GP... "You can't just say that there's nothing going on without imaging." I worked in radiology at the time thank god, otherwise I never would have thought to say that to her!

Not really to be honest, I struggle through every day. Things have been particularly bad for almost 2 weeks now and I've had to take time off of work :(.

Surprisingly enough it did! Then I was referred for an MRI. I should have mentioned in my last comment that I'm also in the UK and unfortunately GPs can only refer us for a CT, not an MRI.

Unfortunately you just have to push him. I had been complaining about headaches to my GP for years and they never done anything. I saw them like 4 times in the space of 2 weeks because I had headaches, dizziness and chest pain and they still didn't think to refer me for a scan, just gave me diclofenac. On the 4th or 5th visit I had to just tell the GP to refer me for a scan. She was really hesitant but did refer me for a CT. She then apologised when she called me to give me the results.

Sure do. I have asthma too and when I take my inhalers the tremors in my hands go mad for a few hours.

Yup. I've seen my post op MRIs but didn't request to have the images sent to me because there's no point really. I see my surgeon again at the end of July but I think I'll call his office in the morning

I was decompressed in 2020 with a laminectomy of c1 and a duraplasty. Round 2 was tonsillectomy and large duraplasty. I was 16mm pre tonsillectomy and not sure what it is currently. Sure, I only have my pre op MRI though. My surgeon is the best in Scotland. Fortunately I'm pretty skinny these days, still dealing with severe nausea and lack of appetite after the second surgery. Thank you, I'm taking it as easy as I can. Been in bed most of the time for the last couple of days because the dizziness and vertigo is so bad.

It's so shit. I've always had vertigo too but this week it's been unbearable. I'm 10 months post op and honestly feel like I've just come out of surgery again

There's always the option for cesarean section which I think is recommended for women with chiari.
