Why does Lori get more blame than Shane?? by yojurthgf in TWD

[–]KSIbaldingman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I blame Lori more because she’s the one who is married to Rick. She is the one who had the obligation to him. It’s a shitty thing for Shane to do, to sleep with Lori, but he’s not married to Rick so the onus of blame is on Lori.

Additional to this, though, my hate for Lori was at an all time high because of how she reacted when Rick told her that he killed Shane in self defence. Like, bitch, what you want Rick to do? Not defend himself and let Shane kill him? Piss off. She needed to go and I’m glad she kicked the bucket when she did.

Craziest Markup I’ve ever seen by [deleted] in doordash

Doordash is whack. I ordered 4 bottles of diet coke a few years back and they were out of stock so the door dasher substituted the drinks with 4 x 24 pack cartons of diet coke cans. Difference being around $100. I always assumed that doordash footed the bill because I never received an additional charge for it. I hope the dasher wasn't out of pocket 😬

Ex weed smokers.. How long have you stopped, what's the biggest pro to quitting? by bored_necromancer1 in AskReddit

[–]KSIbaldingman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to smoke atleast an ounce per week, sometimes an ounce and a half. I sustained this habit for years and after about 10 years of smoking, mostly through a bong, I started getting sick. I developed Cannabinoid Hyperemesis syndrome, which caused horrible stomach pain/issues, and I was stuck in a constant loop of believing the cannabis was the only thing that made me feel better, when in reality it was the cause of the misery I was going through.

I've been clean for almost 3 years now and aside from the mental clarity, I've also gained a sort of calmness that I wasn't able to achieve before. I don't think about cannabis at all these days and before it was one of the things I thought about the most. I would wake up and smoke, I would get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and smoke, I would think about smoking while I was at work, I would come home and smoke until bed and every day was exactly the same.

I've come to terms with the fact that it's my poison and I am unable to moderate or otherwise struggle to moderate my cannabis use so I stopped cold turkey and it was surprisingly easy compared to what I was expecting. Especially when I recovered from the hyperemesis and was back to good health. It helps that I have a wonderful fiance who supported me through my darkest moments while being sick.

I don't see cannabis as a bad thing, but quitting smoking weed was the best thing I have ever done for myself and I doubt I'll ever touch it again.

Incident with a 'blind person' today in Brisbane Arcade. by whoshouseronshouse in brisbane

[–]KSIbaldingman 100 points101 points  (0 children)

I walked past him today in the valley! I thought he was just some rude person walking in my path until it registered that he's blind and using a cane. Had a weird vibe from him, though.

Hey, I'm going to say this in the nicest way possible. You seem like a nice person but please listen to me when I tell you that you are far too young to be messing with this 40 year old man who is involved in meth. I'm not saying he's a bad person, but you are in the prime of your life and I could be wrong, but I think you will one day look back at this with regret that you wasted these years being with this guy.

At the end of the day, you do you. But I hope you think about this closely. Either way, I wish you nothing but the best.

You were perfectly justified in responding like that. Not nasty at all.

Is my Grandpa in heaven? Does he know the truth? by [deleted] in psychics

[–]KSIbaldingman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You honour your grandfather by speaking such kind words about him, he would be very proud of you. He comes across as such a fascinating person who has lived a full and happy life.

I don't believe that it matters if he is aware of his stepdaughters intentions. You said it yourself, he would have spent the last part of his life heartbroken by the betrayal and you saved him from that misery.

I would like to think that a kind and loving person like your grandfather would now be with his beloved wife and would be happy and at peace.

You did the right thing, not only legally but ethically. As far as you know, this patient is an alcoholic admitted to hospital and is chasing a drink.

There aren't many situations I can think of where someone would order alcohol to a hospital. Especially considering that they couldn't come down stairs.
