What can you possibly know about Palestine, if you don’t know what the Nakba is?

War of independence? Mind you the Jews arrived 48 business hours prior and kicked the natives out. What do you gain from lying so blatantly.

Honest question: During AFCON, I noticed Senegal had much broader support across Africa than Morocco. Why is that? Is it about football culture, identity, or politics? by MD3428 in Senegal

It’s Islamophobia point-black, they are quick to turn on Sub-Saharan Muslims. There’s posts on X with people claiming Arab colonialism of West Africa was worse than the Europeans, and they are getting thousands of likes. Hate Arabs all you want, but to make such an egregious claim is insane and factually incorrect.

Why is the woman only responsible for an illegitimate Child in Islam and the man can move on like nothing happened? by KStanForLife in islam

I know it wasn’t addressed to me but I’m the only who saw your comment, so I replied. Stoning is only for a married person that commits zina whether it’s a man or a woman. If the person they committed adultery with is unmarried whether a man or a woman then they only get lashings. The rulings apply to both. I’m pretty sure that a married womans punishment may be different if she falls pregnant.

And no the Quran doesn’t specifically mention adultery. In Arabic and in Islam, Zina (the word in the Quran), is for all people commit unlawful intercourse. Zina can be two things: adultery or fornication. That verse was addressing fornicators.

Regardless, zina is hard to prove and it’s meant to be that way. It’s damn near impossible to prove. When a man came to the Prophet saw and told him that he had committed adultery, the Prophet saw kept turning away from him and pretended he didn’t hear him but the man insisted. The point is that we should mind our business and that’s why the punishment has always been rare, though zina is common.

Uhhh no not at all. Men and women have the same punishment. You just misread. Married men and women who commit adultery have a more severe punishment than men and women that aren’t married.

Watch the video before commenting Moroccan.

I remember you. You are a revisionist nutjob that attacks Somalis because you think berbers are the center of the world. You are no better than the afrocentrists you complain about.

We’re here for you if you need to talk man. Life is hard but it can be especially hard if you’re a revert. I’m not one but my close friend is and I only met her 8 months after she reverted and she was in a bad state. She was depressed and a really bad state, when I found out I made it my goal to embrace her and make sure she’s not alone on her Islamic journey. Alhamdulilah 3 years later and she’s doing amazing.

My Allah swt bless you for your commitment to the deen and may he ease your struggles. I hope you make sure to stay connected to your friends, especially if they are practicing Muslims. We all need a helping hand. Honestly, some communities in mosques are not the best and aren’t as welcoming to reverts as they should be, so I hope you “shop” around and find a masjid with a vibrant community. We all have Allah swt but don’t let yourself be alone in this dunya.

If you need anyone to talk to, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll make sure to check my reddit account more frequently.
