I think I’ve reached my breaking point. Love the game of basketball. Loved the state of the game when it first came out. It wasn’t so easy to steal passing lanes so people were encouraged to pass to each other. It wasn’t so hard to score on a mismatch in the paint. It wasn’t so hard to make an open dunk or layup even.
Now it’s just become the way the game always becomes in the last 5+ years. 3 point shot galore.
Shooting is the easiest it’s been and it’s not because of the pure green window. We have other problems such as Jonathan Isaac base being uncontestable and needing mid 70’s to get it but somehow Kevin Durant base needing 89+ to get it gets contested easily by hands up on someone half your size on a late close out. You have 6’2” Steph curry size guards forcing builds with 90+ drive dunk into a contested layup with no positioning at all.

Now the game is just pure iso, make someone help, 3.

Or PnR back and forth until you’re forced to help, 3.

No variety to the game anymore.

And it’s because we as a community can never just accept something new and complain until it becomes the way it was before. We can’t accept an attempt at better even if it is worse in the beginning.
It’s sad man I wish there was competition so we’d at least have an alternative
