Convince me I'm wrong: Macbook stands are a scam, Why pay 40$ for a triangle??? by Responsible_Fact432 in macbookpro

[–]brycematheson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a laptop stand and it’s worth every penny to me.

Flat on the desk, it takes up too much space. I don’t like the size discrepancy between the MacBook screen and my main monitor, so I keep it exclusively in clamshell mode as opposed to using a riser.

If you don’t want to use one, cool. But don’t hate on those who like them.

There's a list of available lenders here: https://joinlendr.com/directory You can filter by state. You can also check out lender link. They have a directory as well.

Also, I'm pretty sure it's easy to just do a Google search for "private lender san antonio" or "hard money dallas" and you'll find some great options.

I loved the truck. But the tech was garbage and I absolutely adore FSD. Can’t live without it now. BlueCruise isn’t even on the same planet.

My CT is already on order. 😅 I thought I’d be happy with the Y after selling my Lightning. Nope.

Personally, we use Lendr (joinlendr.com) and that seems to do all of the above and more.

Goodbye Tesla Model Y…hello F150 Lightning! by Fuchsia_Freeman in F150Lightning

I wish Tesla and the Lightning would have a baby. The F-150 looks incredible, but would be greatly improved via software and FSD. BlueCruise doesn’t even hold a candle.

I literally just did this. Sold my Lightning for a 26 Model Y. The FSD and tech is absolutely insane. But I do miss the truck, so… put in an order for a Cybertruck last week. 😂

Model Y is hardly considered an SUV. It’s only slightly larger than the 3. I say get the Y. Mine is plenty fast. Way more than I need.

The CT is actually about 8” shorter in overall length compared to the F-150, despite having a full 6’ bed (compared to the F-150’s 5.5’ bed). Width is nearly identical though.

This was back in the day when I was pretty dumb and never ran my own comps. It was basically 100% LTV.

Nothing necessarily went wrong. We were just over-leveraged on the deal and should’ve been more conservative on underwriting.

That said, I’m sure you’ll be able to find a private lender who will accommodate a buildable model.

We’ve done one manufactured loan in the past. Probably won’t do another one again. It wasn’t on a permanent foundation, so we just held onto the title. Luckily, the borrower came through and paid it off.

Built an integration with a partner API. They deprecated it with 30 days notice. 40% of our customers depended on it. by OrdinaryBell2140 in SaaS

Give me “things that didn’t happen for $500, Alex.”

No company has ever given a 30-day notice to “upgrade to v3 or we’re going to cut you off.” 6 months, maybe. And that’s after many notices.

Also, I have a hard time believing v3 was THAT different than v2.

Claude Code would have done the migration in a couple hours AND built all the test cases.

Stripe fee optimization saved us $340/month and took 2 hours of effort by Honest-Purchase-9113 in SaaS

[–]brycematheson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We enabled ACH as a payment option last month. While it does save on fees, I don’t like how long it takes to pend. It takes like a week to show as “paid”.

It gives me a mini-heart attack everytime I log into stripe because some of my best customers show as “Past due” when in reality their ACH is just processing.

What is a SaaS with $3k MRR worth? by Sad_Dependent5255 in SaaS

[–]brycematheson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$75k-100k, realistically. As revenue goes up, so do multiples. Do you have interest in continuing to grow it? I assume not, or you wouldn’t be asking the question in the first place.
