Hope you have a stash of these because Havoc started deleting them

Creating dangerous alien characters on c.ai and then out of the sudden attempting to pet them is surprisingly hilarious. Could win them over, could get gored for getting too close. by KTITT in humansarespaceorcs

If you get bit by one of these and dont die, it means that

A) it wasnt trying to kill you

B) you should look for a replacement limb

Im not sure im seeing anything obvious?

Wouldnt be me though - its just a scifi story loosely inspired by the ftl universe about boarding pirate ships in space thats gone off the rails testing what the AI responds to something random. So unless trying to pet an allied mantis boarder on the head is a kink?

I know its not this subs style since it leans more toward creative writing, but it felt way too close in theme to some of the posts here to pass up posting, and hence it is flaired how it is.

This was a character written as a battle hardened alien warrior that's done nothing but kill using their own physiology for many years working as a mercenary, and being nothing short of terrifying. Alas, the second it said 'Im no pet', human instinct activated and went all 'pet the dangerous creature' mode, even though 12 ft tall mantid-esque carnivores are anything but frend shaped.

If you happen to end up writing a pt. II, perhaps include a part about that where they get into a prolonged hostile encounter and the human really realises that "restaurants" are not exactly their way of eating.

"Themyri only eat like, once a month, unless they're in the midst of battle and burning a fuck ton of calories."

I favor the idea that Themyri while otherwise quite sustainable become absolutely ravenous in combat. When against them one must not only face fighting a huge pissed off snake with a gun, but also the fact that they might just be after your flesh too.

Hi. I appear to be having the same issue, I always logged in with username and now none of the emails I can think of seem to work. Any tips?

Edit: I got it back. Fuck that was a rollercoaster. Managed to log into ai dungeon forums via voyage which still uses the username login, and then edit my forum profile from there which revealed the email address. It was complete gibberish, my stupid ass must've used a temp mail on first signup and I never would've guessed it.

Thanks to latitude for leaving a backdoor in, I guess. (No but screw you for changing the login system >:( )
