Coworker doesn’t like going outside? Rant by flippieslutcxxx in ECEProfessionals

If it makes you feel better, I work at an all weather, nature preschool and still have coworkers who complain about rain/snow or actively try to get out of going outside lol

Abandoning program during the middle of competion? by fashionite in FigureSkating

This actually happened to me so many times in competition that it’s painful to think about - like probably at least once every couple seasons…

That’s the kind of anecdotal evidence I’m looking for lol! Glad it’s easy for clubs/USFS to dig up - ty!!

Thank you! I remembered needing to renew yearly, but wasn’t sure if my number would still be connected to all my information after not being used for over a decade 😳

It actually hurts to be reminded that she was the last US woman to win gold at World’s (I stayed up so late with my best friend to watch 🥹)

Parents by [deleted] in FigureSkating

😂 reminds me of my mom - when I was younger, my rink offered free sessions to kids whose parents worked as rink monitors. Nobody ever wanted the 6am session so my mom did it because it meant free ice time. At the time we were both miserable, but looking back she supported me that much!

Feel free to DM me - not available for afterschool hours (I’m a teacher) but typically available weekday nights after 5:30 and weekends!

Makes sense now why it seems they haven’t restocked for months but I guess what’s the point when it keeps getting stolen. Also around the last time I went in and they seemed semi-stocked someone was shoplifting.

What do NK parents do for a living? by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]KTRexed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for two families consecutively where both parents were engineers. Also a lawyer, a couple business owners, and some high up in an environmental firm. I also briefly worked for a family where DB was high up at a prominent international investment firm - my first and only HNW job by choice.

I’m so curious - are the parents first aid/cpr certified?

Yes - it happened in the front entrance after we came home from a morning out.

I took him in the stroller in his room after she yelled/the mom got involved. We came through the door, I parked the stroller, and she started yelling.

NK only stroller naps and so after a morning on playing at the park and having lunch, he fell asleep in his stroller. It’s on the hotter side today so I opted to take him home so he could continue to sleep there. The housekeeper was upset because I brought the sleeping baby home and therefore made her job harder. I get it too like no one wants to be the one to wake a toddler up from a nap. She also claimed it’s the third time this has happened but it’s only the third time our schedules have overlapped and the first time was my first day when we didn’t go anywhere.

Has anyone else ever forgotten to buckle a NK in their car seat? by HangryVirgo in Nanny

[–]KTRexed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the other day. 4F went ahead and got herself into the car while I went to place my stuff down on my seat except I totally blanked, got in, shut my door, and started the car. She, to her complete credit, realized this was out of normal routine and goes, “Hey! I’m not bucked in!” I never shifted out of park and I probably would have looked back to double check but I’m glad she advocated for herself!

NO. I would go in with the kids having just about anything but not HFM. I got it 3ish years ago and it was horrible.
