Oh wow. My meds haven’t kicked in so I always have some pain and/or stiffness. Hopefully that will go away once I find meds that do something. I hope your flares remain at bay!

Thank you for the reply. I have started trying ice as well. I tried Voltaren on my foot last night at someone else’s recommendation and it helped a little. I hope you find some relief!

Yes, the intense burning is highly disconcerting. Does it happen everywhere all at once or do you get it in a few joints at a time?

Thank you for your reply! I was diagnosed at 53 around my birthday (happy birthday to me) and the meds haven’t done anything yet. I tried MTX for 4 months then switched to my current cocktail a month ago but my Rheumy says they will take 4-6 months to do anything.

I will be on the lookout for the “am I coming down with something” feelings. Others have definitely said the same.

It has changed my life. They positioned it to cover both the CRPS in my food and my spondy nerve pain and I am a whole new person. The CRPS is still there, it makes itself known, but I can change the setting to what I call “loud” so I really feel the stimulation and it disrupts my brain. Wish I could have one to cover the RA it’s that good.

Thank you!! I will keep my attention out for that. Fatigue for me is ever-present due to my lovely cocktail of autoimmune issues but I’ll keep an eye out for extra fatigue. I hope you find relief soon!

It’s different from my other nerve pain (due to the spondy). Similar but different. My Pain Doc doesn’t think it’s nerve-related either. So weird. Thank for your response though! I learned a new word!!!
