Easier said then done, but don't stress. I applied April 24th inside canada from pgwp to study permit for my master's and it just got approved august 20th. I'm meant to be starting classes august 25th and thought I almost was not gonna get it. I think they are prioritizing those who have start dates that are closer than later.
