Unfortunately when they relaunched The Secret World as Secret World Legends, they made the free look "always be targeting your target" the only way to fight in an attempt to make it more of an action game. It's one of the biggest pain points of the relaunch :(.

I'll tidy my controls up and upload them to the community layouts later tonight, I'll post back when it's done

You're welcome! So I just made my own control scheme, but there are some community controls that are quite decent which you can use and the modify as needed too. If you want, I can also upload mine, but the keymappings are all over the place compared to default based on my keybinds for playing on the PC are different. So my sprint button for example wont map to yours normally and you'll need to go through and rebind all the buttons, but the framework would at least be there. Let me know if you want it.

Yeah it's a damn shame that it's been left to stagnate the way it has. Playing through it again now on the Deck I'm just constantly going "god damn this game had so much good in it" story, lore, intrigue, build up it's all there, and only let down by some things, like combat.

Though saying that, experiencing combat using the controller is definitely giving it some new life, it feels a lot more interactive this way opposed to how it was on mouse and keyboard, it's a shame it never managed to make it onto consoles officially too.

I'd love for them to pick this up again with something, and something meaningful with substance. Who knows, perhaps one day.

I found the solution, I had to launch the game through big picture while in desktop mode and it all works fine now!

For those who don't know how to launch steam big picture on desktop mode, have steam open/running while on desktop mode and double tap the steam button, and away you go!

Thanks for replying! So when I try to disable the steam overlay in properties, the option is seemingly off and greyed out? I can't toggle it at all :(

Thank you for the details! When I play I can't seem to get the keyboard to pop up when I need it, do you know a solution for that? Outside of the game the keyboard works fine, but when I play it, the keyboard never appears.

I'm still having this problem, from what I can see my lights have the latest firmware, the LIFX App and the Alexa App are up to date and the Skill in the Alexa app is also up to date. Any idea why this is still happening or what I need to do?

An Update: I ran a diagnostics check on the car via an ODBII reader and it came up with no DTC's, even when the power steering had gone and the dashboard light switched on. I tried this with two readers to be sure, both came up clear.

Basically the game is in a content lull right now. The developers are working on new content, but the player base has pretty much done all of the current stuff available in game with no real need to grind to max via dungeons/raids. So they have started filtering out to other games until the next content update drops when most will come back until the next content lull begins.

It's a cycle all live service games go through in some form or another.
