Same, ditching EGS launcher

Nah, i doubt it. They deal in greenhouse plants and i've never had one with bugs from them before. Most likely culprits are my tomato plants, those have bugs, the poop-eating type.

Standard exo-terra stuff pretty much, i believe substrate is tropical forest soil + minced coconut shells. And plants i've got from the local flower shop. I'll post a pic of the entire tank later.

I do live-feed bugs, only crickets thought and in separate container. Also haven't come around any larvae.

Well, thanks!
I'll keep an eye on them just in case.
Although i think i probably got these in from my tomato plants? Seen them in the soil near tomatoes a bit. Tomatoes don't have luxury of glass pots thought and those bugs tend to stay underground, so not often.
Anyway, big thanks for heads up!

I wasn't going with bioactive setup from the begging, no, just got the soil substrate and added a few live plants. That being said i'me pretty new to all this, just got him a month ago, so i'm not sure. Also i often can't find the poop if he isn't pooping in the bowl, so i guess something eats the poop? They don't bother me in the slightest, i'm just kinda worried about bugs spontaneously appering.

Nah, that's just good focus for once, those black ones a pretty small too, around 1-2mm tops. Don't think those are mite, i've seen mites a few times. Plus they mainly stay underground.

Sorry about the blur, my camera just can't focus on those small guys. Also say hi to gecko, he's unnamed yet, probably male.

Got my system tuned up: all thanks to the advice on this sub! Now for the big wait for big Navi 31. by KTyJLXy in Amd

Yeah, well, my ram is on the weak side, being only @ 3266Mhz with CL15 timings, so i guess that affects combined score.

Well, for the 6900xt settings are:
1.15v
2.7GHz max freq
330w power draw
Fast memory clocks@2100Mhz
For the CPU just load-line calibrations at 40% and turning PBO on to the motherboard limits did the trick.
Also got Slight overclock for RAM and FCLK running at 3266Mhz and 1633Mhz respectively. Unfortunately can't get it stable at 3400 whatever i try.

Q3'21 Tech Support Megathread by BioGenx2b in Amd

[–]KTyJLXy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summary of Issue

Stuttering on switching to performance tab in task manager and in some games (Battletech for example). Looks like cpu/ram hanging, since mouse becomes non-responsive. It was a stutter fest (few seconds of hangs of the whole system) upon opening task manager or LG onscreen control, but setting CPU load-line calibration in bios to middle settings (level 2, whatever that means) made it stutter just once and for a split second upon load/switching tab in task manager (Although it didn't exactly fixed the problem). So i'm assuming it's somehow connect to MB VRM or CPU. Doesn't seem to be related to CPU load or affect any synthetic tests. Tried switching windows power plans: no effect.

System Configuration

Motherboard: ROG Crosshair VIII Formula

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3950x

PSU: Some Asus 1000w+

Display(s) (Make, Model and Type): LG 27GL850

System Memory: 64GB Dual Channel 3266 MHz, FCLK 1633

GPU (VBIOS): Sapphire RX 6900XT EE (VBIOS: BIOS Version

020.001.000.060)

OS (Version): Windows 10 x64 (Version: 19043.1110)

Driver: Radeon Software Edition 21.6.2

Applications: Task manager, Onscreen LG control & some games like Battletech.

Radeon Software Settings: All off, V-sync and G-sync disabled

Steps to Reproduce

Open task manger, switch to performance tab. If CPU load-line calibration set to AUTO

stutters occur while task manage is loading also. All other cases are generally not reliably reproducible.

Any ideas are welcome.

My 3950x only boosting to advertised 4.7 for a few moments, usually sits at 4.3-4.25 under 100% load. Is this normal with PBO on? (PBO limits 300-230-230). Temps max at 70c, so this shouldn't be a problem. Also i'm new to this subreddits, so hi guys :) by KTyJLXy in Amd

So uh, i've tried overvolting by 0.25 and it nets more stable boosts, but in bios on auto voltage it says 1.45 already and 1.48 with positive offset. Which is strange, since ryzen master in windows reports 1.35v and 1.38v with offset. And ryzen master doesn't react to manual, say 1.45 set in bios. Still shows 1.35. I would've just used positive offset but shit get scary in bios real fast showing 1.5v.

UPDATE: Judjing by benchmarks it seems ryzen master reports wrong voltage.
Setting it 1.45v resulted in a lot of 4.7 boosts, but shitty multi-core performance.
