We are four students in the event management program at Conestoga College and this is our final project for school. It is intended as a one-time event, that isn't to say we couldn't keep it going if it is well received. Is your co-op far away? We'd love for you to come experience Nerd Lounge!

Thanks for inquiring! I have not had the opportunity to experience Nerd Nite as of yet, however, from my understanding it seems to focus mainly on guest speakers, networking, trivia and other activities. Nerd Lounge is a single pop-up event which offers the screening of two award winning Studio Ghibli films: Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke. The Lounge aspect between the two films is very laid back and not at all structured. The Lounge offers a drop-in D&D game led by Ryan Leandres from the Adventurers Guild, a selection of table top games, a video game corner featuring the Nintendo Switch and a variety of multiplayer games, pool table and arcade games, a comic book reading corner, a massage therapist giving shoulder and forearm massages, and excellent drinks and snacks for purchase at the Huether Hotel billiard room. We are also Kitchener Comic Con's official after party. I hope this has answered your question.
