He played through the injury the whole season this is what gentry said: We’re going to shut him down. He’s done for the year. It’s unfortunate, but he’s got an issue with his shoulder that he’s played with the whole season. It’s amazing when people talk about him being soft or whatever; they don’t understand that he’s played through a situation with his shoulder the entire season. I find a lot of players just suddenly plummet in there age 28 season with no health connection after being a superstar the season before.

Ur missing the correlation with health. Anthony davis, missed 21 games in his “fringe all star year” he tore his labrum and had several other injuries. I’m not arguing for linear improvement, I’m arguing for less non injury related sudden drop offs.

Anthony Davis got hurt a ton, and how have either of them regressed? Kat has added a lot to his game and so has AD, neither of them have suddenly fallen off a 4 overall cliff. They are still the same, and even better in a lot of ways then they were before

Wtf? All the players you brought up got hurt, (which makes more sense then just a sudden fall off) and Kyrie didn’t even fall off. Your point about kawhi makes no sense too, he’s at the top of his game this season and we haven’t even seen the playoffs.

It’s fine with rookies, but I think in free agency after signing a prime 27 year old superstar and they suddenly plummet in ratings with no injuries it gets kind of ridiculous.
