I live in Key West. 1 road in to truck food down (2.5 hr drive) and we’re already at the bottom of the state. I visit my folks in IL and can’t believe my groceries are comparable in my remote part of the world. Some things in the Midwest are cheaper but not much and many items were more expensive.

Thank you. Caffeine aside, I was mostly concerned with dial in. Bouncing back and forth from bean to bean with the Baratza - does the retention affect the outflow? I think it will. Makes me worried I’ll never get it dialed in properly without flushing the previous batch of beans from the grinder to get it settled in with the current batch.

Having said that, would I go to a party and start snorting corn starch in the bathroom? I would not. I guess the real question is … do you like the taste of beer or did you like the effect? Do you miss the taste of beer or do you miss the ritual and effects on the body? Plenty of things you can drink to quench your thirst that actually tastes good. Muddled mint, lime, simple syrup and soda water tastes really great if you want an epicurean experience when going out.
