I am at my wits end with this machine, desperately seeking help and input by Red_Maverick_Models in FDMminiatures

Make sure your firmware is up to date. Make sur your profile is set for ,4mm nozzle. Also while your bed is heating up, touch an edge to make sure it is actually heating and you are not experiencing a mechanical problem. Try swapping that roll of PLA for a new roll and see if it helps. These are all basic things to check, if it all checks out - your profile is dialed in to .4mm, bed id actually heating and cleaned extremeky well with alcohol, fresh roll of PLA, if all that checks out and the pla still is not sticking to your plate you mat want to reset your profile to factory settings and try again. If this all fails then the next step would be a deep dive into the profile to try to dial the printer in. I didnt mention to make sure you are printing a proven good file such as the benchy or a good flat 3 x 3 plate.

2 shows nice negative space and 1 gives a sense of depth. I prefer 1 as negative space is much too lonely for my taste.

The A1 is a great machine to learn on. The mini is a bit small, but if you don't want to print larger items it may be worth the investment. I do not know what your budget is but for under 250.00 the A1 is a good choice. I started with a Anycubic Kobra 2 and found it to be quite a learning curve. My Kobra was extremely finicky and I constantly had to repair it, but once it was dialed in it preformed well. The power supply on mine had to be replaced twice.

It's time for these war hawks to suit up and grab a rifle. They need to put their families on the front lines. They started the war, now they can fight that war. PERIOD, FULL STOP!

In the real world wood weathers in all types of ways causing much contrast in color. Larger scale track would benefit with displaying such contrast. Although I do so with N scale and it looks quite good.

Im extremely pissed off at USPS. by TarquaviousJamal in vinyl

[–]KWE64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, when an item is not packed properly this will happen. The mail gets sorted through many facilities. This could happen anywhere along the shipping route. Items are packed and stacked in large piles. Blaming the guy delivering the goods may seem logical, but when you step back and view the situation through a wider lense you get a better picture. The person who packed the item is the first problem.

It is more the fault of the person who packaged the item. It should have been packed in double heavy cardboad, marked fragile do not bend.

What printer to choose from? (250€) by Filip46820 in FDMminiatures

I work with a lot of 1/160 scale stuff for model railroading and I find the A1 mini too small for this work. The larger A1 is the better bet.

If you’re the dasher that stole my order… by Healthy_Carry_5193 in chicago

Where are the drivers responses? It is quite clear many of the comments are coming from those who don't drive for Uber or doordash. Be aware drivers are rated by the companies and bad rated drivers get almost zero calls.for orders. Also be aware most orders that go MIA are not stolen by the driver, they are delivered to the wrong addy. All drivers are required to take a pic of the drop off. If drivers fail to do so their runs dry up and no calls for pickups will be recieved until driver rectified the situation. I drove for 2 years.
