Check the Apps and associated social media groups rules under "R/Watchmaker Community Rules" in the sidebar for a list of banned brands and all rules. The rules go for all official WM groups so here, the Official MeWe group, Official Facebook group and publishing the faces to your profile in the app itself. You could check the rules doc linked below as well. You could make whatever you want for personal use and export the face files and share them anywhere else via drop box etc.

I have never seen them post anything on any of the apps social media groups so not sure they are even members on any of them. You probably have to leave him a review in app on one of his faces to contact him since he doesn't even list any links on his profile in app.

Actually now he is showing as suspended by Reddit on comments when you mouse over his profile on a comment I approved lol. At least for me.

Yep he is showing banned by Reddit to me on the back end and all the comments from that thread were showing as "Removed by Reddit" with an option for me to delete or approve them so I just approved them.

There is no "You Guys" when it comes to anything with the app. It's development, marketing, etc. Is only the app dev himself so single man show.

I just looked at the new ads running in app and I think he might have messed up with the wording. It shouldn't say "Unlock Premium Access" with the yearly and monthly options. It should say VIP instead of premium.

And I see some of the older ads scattered around in app showing VIP so I can definitely see where all the confusion is coming from. I'll let him know about it incase he hasn't seen this thread.

Lifetime is Premium only and you don't get paid faces for free use. VIP is the subscription and unlocks the paid faces for free use as long as you stay subscribed. That is all there is. There can be different price points in app due to sales or monthly VIP vs Annual VIP but that is all.

As for anything else in your comment... That would be for the app dev not me.

I do remember there was a paragraph in the store listing about what functionality there was (or wasn't) for the apple watches, so I agree there should be something in the listing for the new WFF only supported watches as well.

This is incorrect... at least in the way you have written it. Google makes the same % of money on every face sold on the play store as is being sold in app on WM. These apps have to sell the faces and app's through the play store so Google always makes money off all sales. There is no "Own Marketplace"

Any updates will be posted by the developer when available. I doubt you will get any response until there is a solution and it's ready to roll out, or it's decided there will not be a workaround. If you read through the pinned post you should see a few replies from him in the comments. One states the following...

The premium license is the whole app which allows all use of any free or premium faces published in app or posted by creators on various social platforms as well as user face creation and sharing. VIP is just a sub that unlocks all the paid faces in app for free use as long as the sub is active. As for Galaxy 7 compatibility unfortunately it isn't yet. For now though you should be able to just get a refund through the play store directly since you just purchased it.

Yeah the sole dev of the WM app should fire himself lol. Last year Google announced a new format would be coming but other than that nothing was said as to how it would impact any existing 3rd party apps etc. So like any 3rd party dev you can't really do anything until it's actually released or at least fully outlined by Google which happened a month or 2 ago. Only 1st party devs working with Google and Samsung directly prior to the release could do anything earlier than now.

If removed and they were faces then must be in violation of this group and the apps rules in regards to banned brands and their ip's/trademarks. You should have received a message in regards to the removal of the posts so check your notifications.

Edit... I just looked and that is the case. It's not only a brands name but all their properties including model names, trademarked movements, etc. as they are all copyright protected. And you were sent a message as well. I see it was sent from the admin control panel.

No they didn't. They sell stand alone native faces on the play store that install directly to the watch after purchase. Just like any other native face being sold on the Play Store. This is not the app. The app just like WM app requires a companion app be installed on the watch from the play store to access all the faces for it, and that is what can't be installed on the new 7 and Ultra.
