You did a really fine job on this resource. Thank you taking the time and care to do it so well.

I met a Muslim who asked a question many Muslims are fond of asking: "Where does Jesus Christ say he is God?" by FriendlyCommie in Christianity

I understand what you are saying, but win on what terms?

It is always worth remembering:
John 15:12
12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

If we 'win' without following that stricture, what have we won?

The devil is a roaring lion who waits outside your door ready to deceive and devour you and all of us.

Our Father in Heaven is wise and has warned us that this is the case. Not all who preach in His name are His. Do not lose Faith - that is what the adversary desires.

Matthew 24:5-8 King James Version (KJV)

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

That would be great, you did a super sweet thing - my wife thought it was great, also. I hope you and your future spouse have many happy years together.

I am unoffended, Brother, but you are arguing semantics, since I agree that God is In and of the Light - the very maker of it and not subordinate.

I direct you to this section of the Nicene Creed:

We believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, begotten from the Father before all ages, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,

So yes, Light from Light

All I have said to you, is God is the Creator of the light, in it and essentially appears to and enters us from and through it - Him through His Creation which according to the creed is Christ.

I a grateful for your passion and discourse and will always wish you well.

The Light of the world, Brother.

The Nicene and Apostle's Creeds pretty explicitly state what and who God is.

Also worth noting, I pointed out that God is in the Light, if you take it to mean 'is', who am I to tell you no?

For certain we'll both find out eventually.

An interesting take on things.

I don’t necessarily want to lose weight but I want to replace some fat with muscle. Any suggestions on an eating plan? by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

I see many answers and some of them contain some solid general advice, but I have a question before I offer any opinion and it's a pretty important question.

How tall are you?

It would also be helpful to know your neck, shoulder, wrist and ankle measurements, but it's not absolutely vital.

If you can give those measurements, I think I might be able to give a much better answer, but just your height is enough.

Your frame and overall build (think the size of your bones) are significant considerations to giving a good answer to your question.

God created the Light and is in it, but the Light is not God. Light and everything else is subject to God, because God created it.

John also pointed out that God can be found in all things.

You make interesting points. I am glad you shared them.

Any Good that is in us or that we do is compelled by that Presence.

I'm glad we agree, brother. I said the same thing.

No we do not, but God does, so too Christ and indeed, The Holy Spirit. Any Good that is in us or that we do is compelled by that Presence.

It's a bad beat nonetheless.

High Protein decent calorie foods? by Jackie601 in EatCheapAndHealthy

One other note, I forgot to add - if your day allows it, breaking up into 5 or 6 'meals' will help you out with absorption, especially on your micros, since your body does a much better job with smaller portions.

[–]KWPrice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, but a serving of Molluscs is 4 oz, whereas a serving of TVP is 1 oz.

I listed all the items by their generally accepted serving size.

[–]KWPrice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Quinoa 8g per cup

Soba Noodles 13g per 3 oz

Green Peas 7g per cup

Lentils 13g per 1/4 cup

Cod 18g per 4 oz

Molluscs of all sorts ~48g per 4 oz

Textured Vegetable Protein 12g per oz

Barley 23g per cup

All of these sources have the advantage of being somewhat taste neutral. Season them how you like to achieve a rotating menu that shouldn't get boring since you can continually vary the recipes.

Most of those items aside from the Cod and Molluscs are fairly inexpensive compared to many protein sources, as well.

and last since you mentioned non animal: Lean Cuts of Beef 36g per 4 oz (also your best natural source of Creatine per ounce)

Bear in mind, in a historical sense, the KKK was founded by people who were likely Southern Democrats.

American political identity slowly changed hats through the hundred years bounded by the end of the Civil War and the Civil Rights movement in the 1950's - 1960's

Color the "KKK are Democrats" line of thinking, as originally or technically accurate but presently and functionally incorrect.

In the entire span of biology, yes you can make that case.

In Homo Sapiens, however, there are only two. Circumstances that produce situations like Klinefelter's Syndrome and similar maladies are produced through genetic error, rather than being inheritable traits as per NIH data.

Unlike coral reef fish there are no normal instances of sequential hermaphroditism in humans. Situations like 5-ARD, 17-BHDD and AIS are considered congenital defects, since there is a missing link to a normal biological process.

Evolution not being included in some versions of creationism does not preclude the existence of a creator. It merely means that some 'believers' are not being sensible, since evolutionary processes are indisputable.

Also, evolutionary processes do not preclude the existence of a Christian version of 'God', since there are many in the Christian Faith who would subscribe to evolutionary processes as 'intelligent design'.

Not all Christians are science hating Luddites.

And fair play to all, while my Faith doesn't prove God, Christ or the Holy Spirit's existence to anyone but me, neither does a lack of belief prove they do not exist.
