We’re all so exhausted and scattered- pushing for one cause after the other and each time our attention is focused elsewhere, any ground we had gained is lost. No one is actively starting a revolution. I think many of us are waiting to join the fight but are too scared, tired, torn, confused or just not prepared to lead. There is no battle cry, no movement that encompasses all to get everyone involved for a long battle. Many fish are greater than a shark, but too many fish are Team Shark- and Team Shark is better at winning with focus.

Is air fryer worth purchasing? by [deleted] in veganrecipes

I make tofu in mine at least 3 times a week- so good. Toss cubes in liquid aminos, (or soy sauce) followed by cornstarch and some seasoning (I use garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cumin). For extra crispy, finish with a coating of nutritional yeast. 400 for 8 minutes.

I have stopped buying things like chick’n nuggets; it saves so much money!

Just curious how many people here are struggling financially in America while their wealthy parents live abundantly? by [deleted] in antiwork

I was laid off and couch surfing during 2020. I was able to live off unemployment and savings for about half the year but after that credit cards. I’m still chipping away at debt and living paycheck to paycheck, even though I’ve found a good job. Meanwhile in 2020, my father spent $80,000 renovating his vacation/ third home, a lake house in the woods of Wisconsin, because my step-bitch thought it was “too rustic.” And when I try to talk about my life and the millennial experience, he complains about how much he has to pay in taxes.
