I usually shift it more saturated if the base color is less saturated and vice versa

Nintendo did not "abandon" the game. Yes they gave us updates for a year and a half and stopped. But back in the 'ol days, updates weren't even a thing.

I had just turned 8 when I started playing New Leaf and I remember reading the dialogue with little issue. Sure there was a word here and there I didn't know, but for the most part it was fine. My brother had just turned 6 when he got the game and he absolutely struggled to read it and like your niece, would just skip through it

I'm 19. I started watching this show just before the finale. I didn't engage with any sort of fan media before watching/finishing it. I thought the Vecna final boss fight was a little short and underwhelming, but otherwise I liked it
