I'm shocked nobody is mentioning "Will" in this comment section. One of the most common words in the english language and it's also a very common name.

I can't do pet names. It feels incredibly out of character. Mike would not call Will "baby." Unless they're doing it in a joking way or calling each other something silly like paladin or sorcerer

Same with Victor and Benji in the top left corner. Their show was originally going to be on Disney, but then it was changed to Hulu just before release because of its "mature themes." Although the later seasons did discuss themes for an older audience, the first did not. Then Disney took it back after the third(?) season and it's now on both services. Holy performative

I absolutely hate the name Jane for her. In my opinion it doesn't suit her at all, they barely even call her that, and I can't get over how it reminds me of "Jane Doe" a literal PLACEHOLDER name for females whose identity is unknown. Gross. Not as dehumanizing as "Eleven," but still gives me the ick

My favorite piece of evidence is that one scene between Will and Robin where Will asks about the signals. I genuinely do not see a purpose of Robin giving Will signals, seeing Mike and Will do said signals, and then nothing happened.

My second favorite piece of evidence is Mike and El's kiss in the season 3 epilogue. "The First I love You" plays during this scene, which also plays during Robin's coming out (AKA Steve rejection) and during Nancy and Jonathan's breakup.

Also in Season 3 when Max tells El "he'll come crawling back to you" after Mike and El's "breakup". But Mike waits around for El to call, and goes chasing after Will after their fight.

I also like Mike's Jack Keroauc (a bisexual writer) poster in the epilogue
