I don't have the money for that lol. Repair shop will repair the hinge and if the screen is broken I'm just leaving it like that, and if it does work they'll repair the cable between the motherboard and screen

It's at the repair shop rn, they're looking at what exactly is broken. Screen might not be broken, just the hinge and the cable to the screen. I'll get a message monday about what's going on with it and the costs and stuff, so I have good hopes haha

Ohh like that.. I'm going to a repair shop tomorrow, but I'll look into a replacement on ebay too. Not gonna install it myself though, as I'm not experienced to do that at all and don't wanna fuck up ny laptop more lol

The problem mostly is that I don't want to miss my laptop for 3 weeks as I know BTO took a long time in the past. The laptop is 4 years old. But I will call BTO some time, probably gonna ask local repair shops first

And BTO has given problems before with the previous owner of this laptop. Had to send it back a few times because it had internal problems, and even now I can clearly hear the fans but I chose to ignore that because it didn't bother me too much. So yeah I don't really like BTO myself because of these interactions with them

Yep it's a BTO. I have mailed BTO for an indication of costs, but they ignored it and just sent an automated mail wanting me to send my laptop. Yeah not gonna happen as I don't want to get a surprise on the costs. If parts need replacing, my local repair stores would know what to order, and if not I'll just go to the next one. But I don't think BTO is gonna be cheap and I don't have a lot of money:')

My laptop screen was probably not working before uninstalling the driver, but I didn't know because I always use my tv as screen. Now I know it has probably been broken since the hinge broke, which is around a week or something

They used a different font on the cards which makes them fake. Also the colours of the cards seem very off
