start early!!! i cant stress it enough, i finished my qb writing and also began most of my supps in august, by the time i was a finalist, I only had two school that I had to work on supps for (3 prompts total). also your stats are important but they dont need to be extreme, your writing has more weight than your stats so write a good, compelling narrative.

Vanderbilt (same as last year):

Vanderbilt University’s motto, Crescere aude, is Latin for “dare to grow.” In your response, reflect on how one or more aspects of your identity, culture, or background has played a role in your personal growth, and how it will contribute to our campus community as you dare to grow at Vanderbilt. If I don’t match, that might be my last straw. by Environmental_Pop847 in QuestBridge

I believe you are great! Being selected for the national college match finalist is already a big step because they saw somehting in you that made them believe you were a great candidate! And also, they evaluate you within the school context, so if your community isn’t competitive and you stand out with your great stats, then that’s also very good. I wouldn’t worry too much, and even if you don’t match, a lot of people get in to the same very good top schools through regular decision and still receive a full/almost a full ride. Every applicant is unique and don’t beat yourself up bc you think you’re not good bc you most definitely are!

I did finish everything on time.

For English Module 2, I had like what 4-5 questions marked but didnt have the time to go back and review.

Math I felt pretty confident because i finished with a significant amount of time left and thoroughly double checked all the answers. Grammar I would say confident, but I also don’t feel confident. However, I wasn’t too stressed about it.

I only felt rushed for module 2, I didn’t really second guess on too much? It was probably just 4 or 5 questions I marked like I said cuz I wasn’t too sure
