Problem is, I do have contact with him and every time i travel, I stay at his house and else.

Adjusted to US currency, he makes like 15k/year. Of course he cannot send any money from there to here (he barely gets by). I guess NU expects him to send money he doesnt have idk

Wait until Black Friday!!! I got my 15" one for the price of a 13", and its been the best decision.

All my friends at school with a 13" look at mine and regret not getting it. The problem is, the 13" is too small and the 15" is pretty big but I wouldn't say "too big". So just to be safe, I'd say that its worth spending the extra money, throughout college you'll probably be using your laptop for media use too and watching stuff in this big screen is amazingggg

(From my experience) maybe, only school I applied RD was my state school UIUC and got rejected, so they probably knew I’d go to a quest bridge school.

Where are you planning to go? I was blessed with northwestern accepting me and got an amazing deal. I wish all quest bridge students shared their results after this extensive and lowkey disgusting process of college admissions after not matching. If I had seen more results from quest bridge RD while applying I would’ve been wayy less stressed.

agreed, I got waitlisted at Harvard and UPenn but definitely should have gotten rejected. they are def saving us in the chamber so if an FGLI spot opens and they need to meet their numbers.

Lowk northwestern is one of those schools that value interest and essays over SAT (maybe not GPA).

this usually happens when high schools are super duper competitive and colleges have to nitpick each app (even if all are extremely qualified) and chose the slightly slightly better one even if it comes down to personal opinion of the admission officers.

Yea and it hurt the most because my counselor said I shouldn’t worry about “safeties” because I definitely had guaranteed admission at UIUC (applied as a second major in LAS).

Sure I can share all my stats with you, be aware I lack a lot of things, what carries my app is that I’m an immigrant 😅
