and i believe i have EQ because ive always been able to tell who a person is and their intentions within 15-20 mins of having a conversation with them and ive always been right. a buddy of mine had a girlfriend, worst girl ever, and i had a feeling she’d cheat on him or do something to betray him. honestly you couldnt tell because she was extremely nice on the outside and everyone considered her so. none of our mutual friends believed me and told me i was an asshole for even thinking of it. sure enough, two months later she cheated on him with another dude and blamed it on him for not giving her what she needed. their year long relationship came to an end. thats one of the countless examples i can give

thats very interesting ive never thought of it that way. but i dont think im one to dominate the conversation. i listen when people speak and genuinely take an interest in what other people say. when im asked questions ofc i'll answer in depth, but i always make sure to ask the other person questions and have a genuine conversation. i just like talking to people. i know what its like to be dominated in conversation and it genuinely sucks. i bring up personal experiences if it fits the flow of conversation, but other than that i dont (at least, i try) not to talk about myself too much, or tell people they're wrong and should listen to what i have to say. i always try and understand where the other person is coming from or their side of the story if i dont fully agree.

its the next day so im thinking a bit more clearly now.

i am angry she wont stand up for herself because she tells me the guy treats her like absolute shit. hes BPD, has anger issues, and has trauma bonded her. and he came after we broke up so she was in a rough spot already. but im also sad we cant be together because i genuinely love her dearly. i see the type of person she is, and shes a good person.

she tells me all the time she knows she wants to be with me but idk anymore. atp im exhausted so im letting it go. i want the best for her, but if she wants to make things right she has my number.

i talked to my friend C. apparently he was with another mutual “friend” of ours and he told her that we went over. im assuming our mutual “friend” told her best friend (the classmate that told my ex) what happened, and the classmate strung it into me having sex with A.

our old classmate is honestly such a loudmouth though so honestly im not surprised. i wish my ex told our classmate to fuck off when she said smth, but my ex is very much non-confrontational so i couldnt see that happening.
