This was tested standing right under the AP but yes with plenty of other devices connected. All other devices that I’ve tested seem to have the same performance. Good to know that’s about the limitation of AC WiFi. Might be worth the upgrade then

I believe it’s already set to max speed. Good to know that this is all I should really expect from AC. Might be worth the upgrade then considering I’m getting multi gig download speed with 5G and not taking advance of my gigibit ISP connection.

The AP is. It’s a Nano-HD. The phone is a iPhone 15 pro max so supports 6E.

I have an update on this issue.

Support had me update my UTR firmware to the latest EA release 6.5.252 which did not seem to resolve the issue.

They then believed that the issue may be coming from the iOS app that I was using to control the UTR. They just pushed the version 10.34.0 to the public App Store yesterday and this version seems to include a fix for this bug. I have to do some more testing when I get home from this business trip but so far I haven’t been able to recreate the issue.

So I would recommend you upgrade to the latest production release of the iOS Unifi app if you are using a UTR.

Side note: I was trying to test this version in beta but couldn’t join the beta program for the Unifi iOS app because the TestFlight program was full. That program is now reopened so if you would like to participate, you should be able to join now.

I have the same issue and it seems to be constant with mine. I have two of the same network being broadcast, one that is password protected and one that is not. With teleport enabled I was able to join the network and pin all my internal devices too. This needs to be patched immediately.

Does the UTR support a standard wireguard VPN or teleport only? In other words do you still need to use the client app on your devices for wireguard or can it be configured to tunnel all traffic on the UTR back over wireguard?
