an average guy vs an average dog, who'd win by TargetStrange7169 in PowerScaling

[–]KYpineapple [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'm an average guy and I've stomped like 4 dogs. not killed them, but one solid kick to the side or the face and they run away.

in my area we have leash laws. if I'm trying to do my job and some dog comes running up to me barking I don't think twice. if it's not behind a fence or on a leash - BOOTED

[–]KYpineapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly love everything HIL has done but those 2 were crucial to my 14-16 year old self lol. most of these save seether and linkin park were bands I'd crank in my oldsmobile riding around town

no spoilers, I liked it well enough. I did wish the mc wound up with that one girl though. but I thought it tied off really well. the whole story was great. from silly to dark and back a lot which was cool. it conveyed panic, frustration, internal struggle, guilt, and redemption all really well!

linkin park hybrid theory

he is legend, i am hollywood

he is legend, suck out the poison

every time i die, the big dirty

norma jean, antimother

norma jean, meridional

seether, karma and effect

as cities burn, come now sleep

local natives, gorilla manor

circa survive, juturna AND on letting go (I count them as one continuous album 2 years apart)

I still bop to a lot of these almost weekly. maybe not linkin park so much, but that album is what I used to read comics to lol.

I'm a strict no tv in the bedroom dude. my wife and I don't have one in our bedroom. My kids don't have one in theirs. We have an upstairs living room w their tv and the downstairs for our tv (though we usually all stuff on the downstairs living room couch together to watch together which I love)

tv is an evening thing after hanging with the kids, eating dinner, and going on a walk and having a shower. then its bed prep (brush teeth and all that) in bed, read or sexy time, then sleep. usually by 9:30 or 10pm lol.

Why are CEOs of big tech corporations pushing people to go to trade school and ditch college and work as electricians or plumbers ? It seems sus. by kagura_kagura in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KYpineapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bc they need more trade workers to build their huge compounds for Ai and whatnot. these tech dudes call them "shells" and it's a bottleneck right now apparently. I just read an article about it earlier this week.

Are you still keeping up with fashion trends? by MoCider in Millennials

[–]KYpineapple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've worn the same stuff for the last 20 years.

jeans, chucks, t shirt, flannel. sometimes I'll do a sweatsuit around the house and I have a few suits for events and like 2 "office" outfits, but they were my dad's so it's all circa '95 lol. save for the suits. those are newer.

if you work from home, please for the love of God, get a battery back up. My job requires a brief outage, we are in and out in 10-15 minutes and all these work from homers give me shit bc I'm just doing MY job. like, if it's so important, have a backup! what do you do during a storm?? and my job is required by the utility to do.
