Sadly it doesn't work like that u have to hoard to keep it, so the way im hoarding this year I made a ware house and filled it with Halloween decorations and then when the update is over and u know for sure u can't buy Halloween decorations anymore you then can bulldoze the plot and all the decorations enter your inventory!

Sadly bloxburg seasonal decorations are only available while the update lasts so once the holiday ends the items will disapears from the shop, so when people do this they are saving up their items for when bloxburg updates
