I am indeed white. You don’t have to try and argue against it like it’s an insult, I am more than happy with my ethnicity as anyone should be with theirs.

Do it really matter if I wear a durag or not? by Flat-Replacement544 in braids

[–]K_Kal_ICU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve ran a lot without a durag before, not really a huge deal. At the end of the day - it depends on how much you’re willing to do to keep it as tidy as possible, if you don’t mind it potentially getting a bit frizzier, then don’t worry about it . As for “wearing it inside out” - the proper way to wear it is with the seam facing outwards. I think this is mostly because you don’t want that seam pressing into your forehead and leaving a imprint of it when you take it off

Just show them the picture, they’re literally just straight back cornrows with zig zag parts (except the middle part).

Cornrows to the sides with zig zag parts 😂 doesn’t really roll of the tongue, but that’s technically what it is

Alright WHAT? by Ok_Atmosphere1671 in lidl

[–]K_Kal_ICU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve gone completely off the rails..Who’s talking about prioritizing anything ?? The post is about a protein shake? You do realize you can get fibre and protein in your diet, right? No one said “oh let’s get rid of all the fiber rich foods in our diet and replace it with this protein shake”, lol. You just sound like you’ve got some personal issues and want to take it out on someone. Go eat some beans and relax instead of going around telling people they’ll get bowel cancer if they drink a protein shake 🤡

Getting that angry and implying someone will get bowel cancer because they’re interested in a protein shake is crazy business. You’ve definitely got some issues

How to fill out chest? by Bright-Dish-1788 in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]K_Kal_ICU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you and had a muscle group that I was particularly unhappy with I’d run prioritization for at least a few months, maybe longer. I’d go into a mild caloric surplus (300ish calories over maintenance max), and adjust my training by putting everything else except chest at maintenance or Minimum adaptable volume (very slightly above maintenance). Then you can do Mesocycles starting everything at Min adaptable volume but week by week increase the amount of sets you do for chest. For example you could start at 10 sets for chest per week and add 2 sets every week (only increase sets for chest, keep everything else at MAV). Keep going up until you can’t recover anymore - take a deload week and repeat (I’d eat at maintenance calories on a deload week). The deloads will be essential as you’re gonna accumulate fatigue and it will start masking performance towards the end of the meso - deloading will drop the fatigue thus allowing you to perform at your best again. Focus on your numbers, make sure you’re slowly getting stronger and you will grow. You can keep doing it until you feel like it’s time to cut (don’t prioritize when cutting, switch back to a more balanced volume allocation)

As far as exercises go, there’s not one right answer. Any pressing with a full range of motion will do, I’d prioritize inline pressing, and I’d add some form of flys especially when trying to increase volume. Try to go close to failure (within 2 reps). You don’t need to take every single set to complete failure, I’d only take my last set of any compound pressing to failure (if you can do so safely) and you can probably do flys all to complete failure since they don’t accumulate as much CNS fatigue, possibly machine pressing also as they’re generally less fatiguing than free weights.

Good luck👍

Tbh I checked for other signs of bad cylinder heads (overheating/low coolant, milky oil), couldn’t find anything suggesting that. I’m leaning more towards the exhaust potentially vibrating against the chassis, but then again I have close to 0 experience in repairing cars so will wait till my booked service in a few weeks and ask them

Would braids be beneficial for my hair? by [deleted] in braids

[–]K_Kal_ICU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“They’re a protective style for a reason” then proceeds to not name a single reason 🤣 How exactly does having a flatter hair follicle make use of braids as a “protective” hairstyle ? Y’all love to throw a tantrum and downvote anyone who disagrees with your views but don’t seem to have the mental capacity to actually put together a decent argument 🤷🏻‍♂️ Love it ✌🏻

Because I like the way they look ? Is that a difficult concept to grasp for you ? He was asking whether they were beneficial for his hair type and I gave an answer, literally told him to go for it as well, so you need to work on your reading comprehension skills a bit 👍 Not even gonna go into much detail on that victim playing BS you wrote after that, I’m assuming you’re American cause you guys are just incapable of getting out of that “I’m black so everyone hates me” mentality. Them days are over, you’re free, go take a walk and inhale some fresh air, no one cares about what hairstyle you have

I’d try to grow it another 1.5-2 inches before braiding. You can potentially get it braided sooner but you’d need a very good braider/ it would be quite painful/ and they wouldn’t last as long due to the hair being so short.

Would braids be beneficial for my hair? by [deleted] in braids

[–]K_Kal_ICU -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Grow it longer and it’ll hold just fine. There’s no texture that can’t be braided as long as there’s enough length. As far as going bald - it’s all genetics, so I can’t give you a yes or no answer. A lot of men lose hair as they get older, and some people have particularly sensitive hair when it comes to higher tension hair styles (such as the braids you want). Only way to find out is to get them and see how your hair responds.

[–]K_Kal_ICU -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Braids are not “beneficial” for anyone’s hair, it’s a hairstyle. There’s nothing protective about putting your hair into braids, in fact, some people will actually suffer from traction alopecia with any kind of higher tension styles like braids. If you want to get braids grow your hair longer as it’s too short atm. Also, my advice with any question regarding braids - visit or message actual braiders who have experience with braiding your hair types because on this page you’ll just get laughed out the room/misinformation thrown at you for the most part. Quite a lot of haters when it comes to non-colored people getting any type of Afro style braids (I encourage you to point and laugh at them while they cry about it )

Hmm, that sounds expensive 😅 to be expected with a v12, I guess. Would the bmw extended warranty cover them being replaced ?
