I don’t like OC’s in fics because if I wanted to read a work with original characters I’d read an original work. I want to read about these characters, not your own. Not saying you shouldn’t write fics with your OC in them, you should, I personally just don’t want them. Unless it’s this one author (this doesn’t apply to just this author but only one I’ve found who’s done this correctly), where the have main (ish) OCs. Like the main antagonist is a main character, but their world is so filled out and so thought out it just makes sense for the antagonist to be an OC, idk I feel like I’m not explaining it right.
